Away CEO Steph Korey is venturing down after The Verge’s report of lethal culture at the baggage startup. Taking her spot is Stuart Haselden, COO at Lululemon, The Wall Street Journal reports. Haselden’s last day at Lululemon will be Jan. 10, 2020. Korey will stay on board as an official director.
Following The Verge’s story, which depicted a working environment where Korey was known for criticizing representatives by means of Slack, Korey tweeted a week ago that she was “making things right” at the organization.
“I’m not glad for my conduct in those minutes, and I’m genuinely upset for what I said and how I said it,” she tweeted. “It wasn’t right, straightforward.”
She included that she had likewise been working with an official mentor since those episodes the report featured. As indicated by The Wall Street Journal, Away had been searching for Korey’s substitution since the spring.
